TIM technology has been an evolution in MRI capability. The Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI, coupled with TIM, allows for a reduction in exam-time by up to 50%. With an Espree with TIM, you can select and configure up to 10 of the lightweight coils in any way you want to perform simultaneous studies without having to reposition a patient or change coils.
The refurbished Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI system features a wide, 70 cm bore, short 125 cm length, 1.5 Tesla magnet, zero helium boil-off magnet, and Siemens Total Imaging Matrix (TIM) technology. This MRI scanner’s low table height, 550lb table weight limit, ability to do feet-first and head-out exams, ability to conduct simultaneous studies without patient re-positioning or coil changes makes high field MRI exams much more comfortable for claustrophobic and larger patients.
